Judging from this post on WTNH’s website it looks as if they are looking for a news anchor to replace Sonia Baghdady. The post says: ” You’ll be anchoring most of your newscasts sitting next to this guy, Darren Kramer (Go ahead and take a peek, I’ll make it easy: http://www.wtnh.com/dpp/news/news_team/darren_kramer)”. The anchor that works with Darren is Sonia. This is sometimes a negotiation tactic to scare talent that they are looking for a replacement.
Soinia Baghdady joined WTNH in December 2002 and has anchors the weekday evening shows “News 8″ at 5pm, 5:30 and 11pm. Sonia is a graduate of Fairfield University and her sister Amanda Baghdady, a biology teacher at Bethel High School, in Bethel, Connecticut.
