Two girls walking in the crosswalk in front of the fire department on Wood Avenue in Bridgeport were struck by a Jeep Laredo just before 5pm Tuesday. It appears that both
girls received leg injuries, the extent of their injuries are not known. Both were taken to nearby hospitals. Police are investigating.
