At around 5:20pm Monday Bridgeport Police received a call of shots fired at Poplar Street and Beechwood Avenue.  Reports say two were shot including a 3 year old girl who was crossing the street with her mother.  It is reported that she was shot in the buttocks and has non-life threatening injuries.   Witnesses told us that a gray four door sedan pulled up and opened fire and they said it was 9mm semi automatic fire from one shooter.  We are told as many as 25 shots were fired.  The shooting happened righ near  Bryant School and you can see school children looking on in the video.  Please keep in mind this is breaking news and the information will more than likely change as police continue their investigation.
