A Waterbury man was arrested Wednesday in connection with the city’s latest homicide. Velez is accused of fatally shooting 35-year-old Mayro Joey Santiago, of Bridgeport, on the sidewalk outside the All Star Barbershop on East Main Street. It was the city’s 14th homicide this year.
