6:06pm–#Bridgeport CT– Police are investigating stabbing that took place at 207 Marion Street. When police arrived, the suspect, a 37-year-old man, had retreated to the third floor. He suffered a self-inflicted wound to his own neck.
The victim suffered an injury to her head and defensive wounds to her hands.
The investigation revealed that the suspect and victim were having relationship problems. On Sunday, the two argued and the suspect attacked the victim, who is also 37, with a knife inside a house in the 200 block of Marion Street. She is expected to recover. The suspect was in critical condition.
