10:28am–#Fairfield CT–Smoke from a faulty air exchanger on the roof caused smoke to enter the music room area of Ludlowe High School prompting the evacuation of the school.  The students were brought over to Ludlowe Middle School where they stayed warm in the gym while firefighters investigated the cause of the smoke.  The student were allowed back into the high school in about an hour to resume exams.  Superintendent of Schools Dr. David Title was immediately on scene and coordinated efforts.  School exams are taking place this week and school was suppose to dismiss at 12pm but will now dismiss at 1:30pm.  Meals not normally provided on half days was provided since the day was extended.
