7:33pm–#Bridgeport CT–Firefighters were called to 335 Wilmont Avenue for a porch fire. When firefighters arrived they found heavy smoke and fire on the back porch. The winds helped the fire jump to another house next to it. The bulk of the fire remained at 335 Wilmont Avenue, firefighters report all three floors heavily engulfed in flames. Fire quickly broke through the roof and a partial roof collapse prompted the firefighters to call the evacuation tones which are the fire truck horn blasts you heard at the beginning of the video. All firefighters evacuated the house and conducted a defensive attack from the outside. Within the hour firefighters had both house fires out. The fire marshal was called to the scene to investigate the cause of the fire. The Red Cross was called to help relocate 3 adults and 4 children. There were no major injuries to anyone at the scene.
