Westport CT–May 23, 2015 at 11:00am–Police responded to a report of an unwanted person inside the complainant’s apartment. Everhart was living with the complainant prior to the complaint and had returned to retrieve his belongings as they were no longer dating which resulted in a verbal disturbance. Everhart allegedly broke a window to gain access to the apartment, but told police that the window came off the track when he was opening it.

Everhart was taken into police custody and charged with Criminal Trespass 1st degree and Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree and was released on a promise to appear in court.
