#Bridgeport CT—Video Report: Today, mayoral hopeful Joe Ganim has written a letter asking Governor Dannel Malloy for help in providing state police officers to supplement city police officers following an increase in gun violence. Â Ganim is concerned that the city of Bridgeport Police’s staffing level is at a low while it will take another eighteen months to bring staffing levels back up to full force.
