The Westport Fire Department responded to a two vehicle accident on I-95 South Exit 17 to 16. One person was transported to Norwalk Hospital by Westport E.M.S. for further evaluation of apparent non life threatening injuries. The Westport Fire Department responded with one Command Car, one Engine and one Rescue Company. The right and middle lanes of the highway were closed for the duration of the incident. The last Fire Department vehicle cleared the scene at 12:26 pm
