On 07/18/16 at approximately 10:00am, Westport Officers were dispatched to the rear of Five Guys Restaurant on a report of theft of cooking oil. Responding units were given a description of the suspect vehicle as a white van with New York license plates. Upon the Officers arrival, they found suspects Alondra Aracil and Jonathan Garces actively siphoning cooking oil from the tank. Aracil and Garces were taken into custody. Aracil gave a fake name and date of birth which resulted in the additional charge of Criminal Impersonation.
