10:39am–#Bridgeport CT–Dozens were evacuated from the Fairbridge Apartments at 50 Freemont Street when fire broke out on the 3rd floor. A number of residents made it to safety including several that are wheel chair bound. A child and elderly woman were treated by EMS. A cat appropriately named Hercules jumped three stories to safety.  One person was transported to the hospital.  Everyone else including the cat were fine.  The fire marshal was on scene investigating.

Un número de residentes salieron seguros, incluyendo varios en silla de ruedas. Un niño y una mujer de mayor de edad fueron tratados por EMS. un gato llamado Hércules saltó tres pisos para escaparse. Una persona fue transportada a el hospital. Todos los demás incluyendo el gato estan bien. El jefe de bomberos estuvo en la escena investigando.
