Here is the press release on the robbery at Checkers we reported when it happened. Even with a static filled police radio transmission I was accurate in the report!
#Stratford Connecticut–On 11-30- 2016 Dishaun Brown age 39 of Bridgeport, Desmond Hunter age 26 ofBridgeport and Davon Taylor age 22 of Stratford were arrested following a robbery attempt at Checkers Deli 1796 Barnum Avenue. After a short foot pursuit and subsequent motor vehicle stop all three were taken into custody. A 9mm handgun was recovered inside the vehicle. The loaded magazine for the weapon was located later on Barnum Avenue near Noble Street where the suspects discarded it. The trio were charged with the below charges and subsequently held on $150,000 dollar bond. They are scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Court on 12-09- 2016.
