#Bridgeport CT–Today, David Shavers of Norwalk was arrested and charged with the murder of Cadell Moore that occurred on Sixth Street. The investigation revealed that Shavers had an ongoing feud with members of a local street gang that started over a drug dispute. On the morning of August 24, 2017, Shavers drove to the area and opened fire on a group sitting on the porch of the house at 54 Sixth Street. The victim was working on his car in front of that house and was shot in the head and killed. There is no evidence that Shavers had a direct relationship with Moore or that Moore was the intended target. Shavers is being held on $750,000 bond. Thank you to all of the officers and detectives that worked on this case led by Detective Heanue. Specifically, members of the Gang Task Force did  great work assisting the Homicide Unit.
