Norwalk Man Arrested After Recording Video While Driving Over 130 MPH

On Tuesday, 03/28/2023, the Connecticut State Police became aware of videos posted to Instagram and Facebook social media platforms depicting the operator of an unknown Chevrolet traveling at speeds of approximately 133 MPH in an area recognized by investigators to be Route 7 in Norwalk. The posted speed limit on this portion of Route 7 is 55 MPH. The video was approximately 18 seconds in duration and depicted a vehicle with a Chevrolet emblem on the steering wheel accelerating from approximately 56 MPH to 133 MPH, based on the vehicle’s visible speedometer. 2023-03-24 #Norwalk CT--A staff member at Brookside Elementary School was arrested for assaulting three fifth-grade students. On February 24, 2023, the Norwalk Public Schools contacted the Norwalk Police Department about the incident. #Norwalk CT-- Over the course of the last year the Special Services Division of the Norwalk Police Department conducted a long-term investigation into the illegal sale of narcotics and firearms from Ivy Place, Norwalk. Investigators identified Tylon Dubose as the narcotics and firearms trafficker. As a result of the investigation seven arrest warrants were issued for Dubose and a search warrant was issued for his residence. On February 22, 2023, Tylon Dubose was arrested and charged with seven arrest warrants. On February 20, 2023 at 6:17 p.m., Norwalk Combined Dispatch received a 911 call of an individual has sustained a gunshot within a residence on Dry Hill Road. Multiple Norwalk Police Officers rushed to the scene, along with paramedics and fire personnel. Upon arrival, officers searched the scene, located a male victim, and secured a handgun. #Norwalk CT--On January 6, 2023, at 11:51pm, the Norwalk Combined Dispatch received several 911 calls reporting shots fired in the Garner Street area. Responding Patrol Division Officers discovered evidence that shots had been fired, and thankfully no one was injured.
