UPDATE: The Norwalk Police Detective Bureau is investigating a homicide that occurred on July 20, 2017 at 7:45 pm in area of 236 Ely Avenue. The victim is Johnny Lezeau, 26 years-old of Norwalk. Fairfield News: Fairfield Police Warn Of Dangers Of “Cascades” Swimming
10:38am--#Fairfield CT-- Fairfield Police were dispatched to the "Cascades" at Lake Mohegan today. In the past Fairfield has been plagued with swimmer swimming in no swimming locations. The attached photo a no swimming sign now in the foreground with a flower memorial on the beach in the background for 10-year-old Catherine Perez Trujillo who drowned at that location July 17, 2012. Lieutenant Rober Kalamaras of the Fairfield Police warns: "It is imperative that those enjoying Lake Mohegan Park refrain from swimming at the north end of the Lake “The Cascades”. Fairfield News: Crash Closes Takes Down Utility Pole
10:30PMish--#Fairfield CT-- First responders suspect a medical condition caused this Lexus SUV to lose control taking down a utility pole, a mailbox on Burr Street. It took a stone wall to stop the vehicle. Burr Street remains closed as utility workers replace the wall. Injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Bridgeport News: Hero Pulls Man From Burning Car
5:11pm--#Bridgeport CT-- How about some likes for local hero Carl Nessmith who pulled a man from a burning car today? A car crash into a tree at the intersection of Park and Lewis Street. Carl Nessmith was in the area when he heard a loud bang and saw the car crashed into the tree. Nessmith saw the car on fire and sprung into action. He pulled the door open, contended with the air bags that were deployed and helped free the driver who was stuck inside the car unconscious. Nessmith pulled the man to safety before the car became fully engulfed in flames. The driver was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Bridgeport News: Dog Attacks Two Children
5:41pm--#Bridgeport CT-- First responders were called to a home at 295 Pearl Harbor Street where two children were attacked by a dog. Initial reports say a man allegedly came to visit his brother with his dog and the dog attacked his two girls. One girl was seriously injured including facial injuries. A police officer can be seen in the picture keep the dog in place on the leash waiting for animal control to take the dog.
