Former Chief of Police for the town of Fairfield recently changed his LinkedIn status to police officer in the town of Bridgewater Connecticut. I message him and he confirmed it. Bridgewater is a small community of about 1,800 residents according to the 2000 census and is the last dry town in the state. Bridgewater is served by one resident state police officer and two other town police officers. David Peck was the chief in Fairfield from August 2006 to May 2010 when he retired. He often drove the town’s senior citizen’s bus, a constable for Fairfield and consultant Vigilant Resources International in New York. Anyone who knows the chief knows David enjoyed serving the public and always and upbeat person!
