10:07pm–#Fairfield CT–#ctfire–Homeowner at 621 Warner Hill Road calling fire department that there is a fire under her screened porch. Firefighters on the way. UPDATE–Fire was out on arrival. Firefighters check for extensions and recall quickly.
Plow plows 2 cars
9:40pm–#Faifield CT–Police are investigating was appears to be a State snowplow hitting two cars at 2104 Easton Turnpike (near Churchill Road). Officer on scene radioed dispatch to call the residents to come to see their cars when they did come to the door.
Fairfield Police get a 3 year contract
The RTM overwhelmingly passed a 3 year contract for the police union. The officers worked 3 years without a contract.
