12:15pm–#cttraffic–#Bridgeport CT– A three car crash I-95 northbound just past exit 27.  Injuries reported.  Bridgeport Police on scene, State PD, firefighters and EMS on the way.  Expect delays.  One guess for the cause of this……..

 

1:05am–#Bridgeport CT– An armed robbery just occurred at William and Knollton Street by three males in black goose downed jackets according to radio reports.

11:55pm–#Bridgeport CT– If you live on the East Side especially on Jane Street and Nobel Avenue a pick up truck hit a bunch of parked cars according to radio reports.

10:50pm–#Bridgeport CT– A car hit a house on Cowels Street then fled, hit a traffic sign on Stratford Avenue, then hit a parked car at Waterman and Stratford.  Police have located the car on Bishop Avenue.  A witness saw the driver trying to flag down passing motorists for a ride.  He may be allegedly intoxicated according to radio reports.

4:44pm–#Bridgeport CT– Police were called to the Labor Board Office at 350 Fairfield Avenue for a Webster Bank Arena employee who threatened his supervisor and is “not afraid to go back to jail” according to radio reports.

4:33pm–#Milford CT– A car has hit the Melba Street Plaza at 254 Melba Street.  Firefighters report no significant damage to the building but are asking for the building inspector to the scene.

4:09pm– Firefighters on the way to Bass Pro for an elevator rescue.  We don’t normally post these but hey the place is brand new.  Also, a DoingItLocal friend called to say it is him stuck in the elevator!
