Fairfield Police UPDATE: Officers responded to Lakeside Drive on a report of a domestic disturbance between adult children in their 50’s and 60’s who live with their 90 year old mother.  Further investigation revealed that the suspect attacked the victim with a razor, causing minor injuries to the neck. The suspect sustained a laceration on the hand during the incident.

Veronica Klaff 05/28/1961 is under arrest for assault 2nd and is going to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment.
The victim and mother are being transported to St Vincent’s

2019-08-20 @ 10:19pm–#Fairfield CT– A sister allegedly stabs her brother in the neck with a razor on Lakeside Drive.  Police have had prior breach of peace history at the address according to radio reports.  The victim’s condition is not known at this time.  I don’t expect an update until morning.   DoingItLocal was the only news source at the scene to bring you this breaking news story.

2019-08-20 @ 8:08pm–#Fairfield CT– A purse was stolen from  a shopping cart at the Stop and Shop on Villa Avenue.  The woman realized it as she was exiting the store.

2019-08-19 @ 9:19pm– #Fairfield CT– A person at the drive thru at the McDonalds at 1835 Black Rock Turnpike grabbed the drive-thru employee’s hand and attempted to pull the employee through the window.  She struck her head.  I’m happy to report they did get a plate number off the car.

2019-08-19 @ 7:45pm–#Fairfield CT– Today’s second vehicle fire is once again being hosted by Fairfield at Hemlock and Black Rock Turnpike.  The car was fully engulfed.  Fairfield’s first vehicle fire was a professional lawnmower at Andros Diner on Villa Avenue.  Can Fairfield go for the trifecta?

2019-08-19 @ 2:50pm–#Fairfield CT– Today’s vehicle fire was hosted by Andros Diner on Villa Avenue in Fairfield.  A dry chemical extinguisher was no match for the fire and firefighters had to use water to put it out.
