For those of you that follow us on Facebook know we are monitoring this storm very closely! So what do we know as of this morning?? The weather models currently are working their magic to give us a outcome that will satisfy everyone. Some show a moderate snow storm for us while other models say wait a minute not so fast. The Norwalk Department of Police Service Patrol Division responded to a report of a stabbing in the area of 47 Wilton Avenue earlier this afternoon. This incident stemmed from a disturbance that escalated to violence. Three people sustained injuries as a result of the incident. Two victims sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Norwalk Hospital. A third victim suffered a minor injury was refused medical attention. One person is in custody at this time and a weapon was recovered at the scene. Detectives are continuing to investigate this incident. UPDATE: At 8:29 p.m. on Tuesday, a hit and run collision occurred at the intersection of Chopsey Hill Road and Woodrow Avenue. A dark blue panel van stolen from Norwalk collided with a family of 5 in a station wagon. Four black males fled the panel van. Marisol Class, 41, of Bridgeport suffered a broken collarbone and internal injuries. Four children received scrapes and bruises. Safety car seats are credited for the kids only suffering minor injuries. The ages of the children range from nine months to 10 years of age. The suspected were not apprehended. Traffic's Serious Crash Investigation Team was dispatched. Station wagon occupants had to be extricated by Bridgeport Fire Department personnel. Wentzell to highlight the milestones the state has reached over the last several years. Among the accomplishments and milestones highlighted Tuesday are: Connecticut’s graduation rate is steadily rising – up 5.2 points since 2010 to 87 percent, which is higher than national average of 82 percent.
