I Was In Good Hands Today
I was in very “good hands” today as I visited the David Gonzalez Agency Inc. at 200 Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk. Christian Flores has been a big fan of DoingItLocal.com for a couple years now and wanted more information on adverting on our site. I’ve been a customer of Allstate since 1974 (told you I’m old) so it was a good time for me to go over my auto and homeowner’s policy. I also added their auto club for just $37.50!
Chrisitian was great at explaining what the different aspects of my policies, taking all the confusion of what is what and what is important. He gave excellent real world examples to make it easy to understand it. It was great meeting everyone at this full service office. There is no substitute to have a real person to talk to in person, not a 800 number!

6:11pm–#Bridgeport CT–#ctfire–Firefighters were called to Jana Lingerie at 2442 Main Street for smoke in the basement. It wasn’t anything you or I were thinking, it was just a ember from a grill dropped below the deck. No fire and firefighters quickly recalled the alarm of fire.
Fire Engine Pizza Co. Supports Safe Asleep Program
Today, Marty McCarthy and Phil Segneri, partners – Fire Engine Pizza Co., presented RYASAP and the City of Bridgeport with a check in support of theRYASAP’s Safe Asleep program. The program receives 25-40 calls per day and installs approximately 4,000 free smoke alarms in Bridgeport’s single and multi-family homes and apartments each year, saving lives every day. Prior to the Safe Asleep program, which began in 2005, Bridgeport had one of the highest incidents of fire related deaths in the United States. With a large population of children, families, seniors and persons with disabilities living in poverty, many households have limited resources to maintain their homes, let alone purchase and install smoke alarms and batteries.
