Wake up Bridgeport!

12:02pm–#Bridgeport CT–Wake up Bridgeport!! Report of a structure fire, possibly an abandoned home at 191 Huntington Turnpike. Firefighters on the way. UPDATE–Fire was so heavy the activated the evacuation tone and took a defensive posture until getting it under control from the exterior. Heavy fire was knocked down by 12:25am. Police pursuit

11:32pm–#Stratford CT–#Milford–Stratford Police are in pursuit of a car on Route 1 near Naugatuck Avenue now left on Sycamore, whoops now back on Route 1. Now near Milford Hospital, speeds at 45mph. The pursuit doubled back on New Haven Avenue where spike strips were used. The pursuit came to an end at New Haven Ave. and Elm Street in Milford. One police car was also hit the spike strip. A gun was found in the car. It sounded like five were in custody when this all wrapped up.

Odor of gas is power equipment

7:07pm–#Bridgeport CT–Gasoline powered equipment stored indoors is the reason for the call of an odor of gas indoors at 299 Berkshire Ave. in an apartment on the first floor. Firefighters removed the equipment.

Naked Woman

6:38pm–#Bridgeport CT–#nakedwoman–There is a naked woman outside 2600 Park Avenue. Police and EMS on the way.

Person shot in Ridgefield

5:17pm–#Ridgefield CT–EMS on the way police investigating a shooting at 423 Ridgebury Road. State police also requested to the scene. One person is shot, condition unknown.
