9:01pm–#Bridgeport CT–Firefighters on the scene at Chopsey Hill and Pond Street for downed wires.

5:48pm–#Bridgeport CT–Police have two custody after a pursuit down Seaview Avenue leading to Connecticut Avenue.  One person is still at large.  If you live in the area and see someone running through your yard call 911.  6:07pm–UPDATE–Third and final suspect in custody.  I guess the red pants he was wearing was not only a bad fashion choice but assisted in locating him!

#Bridgeport, CT – Nov. 18. 2013 – Police are investigating two commercial robberies that happenedSunday.

The first happened at Koshta Convenience Store at 1489 Stratford Ave. just after 5 p.m.The victim told Officer Lori Nieves that he was in the kitchen area of the store when three males entered the area behind the counter by kicking in the door. Two of the men detained the victim while the third emptied the cash register. The men fled when another employee, who was in the bathroom, began banging on the door. The males escaped with cash and a pack of vanilla-flavored cigars. Detectives James Borrico and Chris Borona responded to investigate.

Then, at 9:40 p.m., an armed male entered the Subway restaurant at 533 Broadbridge Road. Officers Michael Stanitis and Fabio Pereira  responded on a robbery report. The employee stated that he was mopping the floor when the robber entered the store. He went behind the counter to take the man’s order but the man instead pulled out a gun and demanded money. The robber fled the store. No one was injured.

4:55pm–#Bridgeport CT–A person in the 200 block of Beardsley Street came home find their apartment on the 2nd floor had been broken in to and ransacked.

2:56pm–#Bridgeport CT–A woman has been stabbed at Dover and Boston Avenue.  I better not go lest I might show someone’s face on a public street.
