1:48pm–#Stratord CT–Firefighters on the way to police headquarters at 900 Longbrook Avenue for an odor of gas inside.
Bridgeport News: Possible attempt to set a fire
1:38pm–#Bridgeport CT–The firefighters are on scene at 810 Madison Avenue, initial call was for heavy black smoke coming from the furnace. This MAY have been a set fire and the fire marshal has been called to the scene.
Easton News: Stranger Danger!
#Easton CT–#Trumbull CT–Trumbull Police are assisting Easton Police in locating an older model Mercedes with some damage to it driven by a black male. The student called his father at work to report that the driver of this car asked him if he wanted something to eat after getting off the bus at Kaechel Place and Madison Avenue. This may be the general area since I cannot find an intersection between Madison Avenue and Kaechel Place

2:42am–#Bridgeport CT–Police are investigating a break in at the Grand Market Deli at 595 Grand Street. Police have found an open back door. The call came in from the shop owners watching the break in from home on surveillance video.

9:40pm–#Bridgeport CT– Report of smoke coming from the basement at 68 Rocton Avenue. UPDATE–Turns out to be delayed ignition of the furnace causing the smoke.
