Old School Customer Care At Unity Pharmacy in Fairfield
Last week I met with Naga Mulpuri, the owner/pharmacist at Unity Pharmacy at 1326 Post Road in Fairfield. Before I met with her my first impression on the phone was the warmth she conveyed, it was confirmed when I met her in person. She was genuine and the real deal like the old time pharmacies that you can’t get with big box pharmacies today.

Fairfield News: State Trooper Struck on Merritt Parkway
12:07pm–#cttraffic #Fairfield Ct–A state trooper has been rear ended by a driver having a diabetic episode on the Merritt Parkway southbound between exits 44 and 42, closer exit 42 according to radio reports.
Bridgeport News: Possible Intentional Poisoning
2:11am–#Bridgeport CT–Police are sorting a possible intentional poisoning known to the victim on Seaver Circle. The call originally came in as a stabbing possibly to get the police there sooner. The victim fled to another house in the neighborhood and has been transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital. So far no one has been taken into custody.

11:57pm–#Bridgeport CT–Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place on Stratford Avenue. Five teen suspects fled on foot down Logan Street towards Connecticut Avenue according to radio reports.

Two Men Arrested in Heroin Investigations
(Bridgeport, CT – April 25, 2014) — The Statewide Urban Violence Task Force Thursday executed two search and seizure warrants and arrested two people in connection with an investigation into the sale of heroin.
Members of the Bridgeport Police Emergency Services Unit executed the warrants at two addresses.
The first location was the third-floor apartment at 215 Sheridan St. The second location was a second-floor apartment at 357 Nichols St.
Authorities seized from the Sheridan Street residence 302 baggies of heroin, about 4,500 empty, new and unused heroin baggies, grinders, scales and about 100 grams of cutting agents. Also seized was $5,900.

11:50am–#Bridgeport CT–Firefighters on scene at the apartments at 3061 Main Street for a dryer fire that was extinguished upon their arrival. The fire did not extend elsewhere, but now you know why they were there.
Trumbull News: Strangers In The Woods Near School
11:14am–#Trumbull CT–The principal at Booth Hill School at 545 Booth Hill Road called police that a man and a woman were seen in a wooded area near the school. She requested that police investigate.
