12:44am–Police are investigating a robbery at the Park Avenue McDonald’s in the parking lot. The man says three men jumped him in an attempted robbery. On man had a knife, another had a chain and the other had a cane.

Fairfield News: Tractor Trailer Causing Traffic Problems on Fairfield Beach Road
12:00pm–#Fairfield CT–Police have their hands full with a tractor trailer is causing traffic issues on Fairfield Beach Road. It snapped a couple of utility lines and is now having problems navigating the roadway due to it’s size.

Fairfield News: Firefighters Put Out Car Fire
#Fairfield CT–Around 2:30am Friday morning police on patrol discovered a car on fire at Star Towing and Service Station at the corner of Black Rock Turnpike and Jennings Road. Its not known what caused the fire which is under investigation but firefighters had no problem extinguishing the fire. This was the third car fire in the surround towns.
