Fairfield News: Smoke Inside A Home
1:48pm–#Fairfield CT–Cheryl the alert mail carrier was delivering the mail on High Street. When she arrived at 429 High Street and she knocked at the door. When the elderly woman answered the door Cheryl found the residence filled with smoke. The woman said there was a fire in the home. Firefighters arrived and discovered there was a fire in the microwave oven which was out on their arrival. The firefighters ventilated the home.
