Applications for Tax Relief Programs Continue to be Accepted

Westport Assessor Paul Friia today reminded residents that the Assessor’s Office and the

Human Services Department are continuing to take applications for the state and local tax relief

programs.

The programs are open to homeowners who are totally disabled or who have reached the age of

65 by the date of application.

Bridgeport News: Armed Robbery

12:42am–#Bridgeport CT–Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place on Main and Frank Street. The only description is two men in masks one displayed a gun. They were last seen walking towards Commercial Street.

Bridgeport News: Stabbing on Florence Street

8:10pm–#Bridgeport CT–Police and EMS on the way to a stabbing on Florence Street. The victim was stabbed by a known person to them. This just occurred and there are no details at this time.

Trumbull News: Hawley Mobil Robbed At Gunpoint

6:04pm–#Trumbull CT–Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Hawley Mobil Station at 2775 Nichols Avenue. A five foot Hispanic male wearing a dark shirt and blue jeans brandished a semi-automatic pistol and fled on foot. He lost the sweatshirt he had fleeing which will greatly aid K-9 in tracking him.
