In response, Bridgeport Mayor Bill Finch made the following statement:

“This is great news for Bridgeport. Our city is making significant investments in transit oriented development, which helps us create jobs and grow businesses by ensuring transportation is readily available for folks within Connecticut and the Greater New York City area. Between investing in a second train station, improving our downtown train station, and giving pedestrians access to the Fairfield Metro station, Bridgeport is clearly getting better every day. Transit oriented development, business growth, and train station improvements are playing a key role. Thanks to Gov. Malloy and state leaders for their generosity in helping us continue to make smart investments in Bridgeport’s future.”

Fairfield News: Graffiti On Old Stratfield Market

#Fairfield CT–A viewer called police after sending us a picture of graffiti on the back of Stratfield Market on Stratfield Road.  I’m positive it wasn’t by the KKK or any Nazi’s from Germany but I’m sure News12 will be there all day reporting in great detail.   They love graffiti stories of any kind, even the silly ones in school bathrooms.
