7:05pm–#cttraffic–State Police received a call from a motorist on I-95 northbound about a erratic driver of a silver SUV with New York plates on it and the occupants displayed what she thought was a gun. The SUV continued north but the woman got off exit 21 according to radio reports.

#Westport CT–On Tuesday, June 26, 2015 the Westport Police Department swore in a new police officer. The ceremony took place Westport Town Hall at 12:00 P.M. The hiring of the officer fills vacancies created by the retirement since May 2015 and brings the department to full strength.
The following individual was sworn in as Westport Police Officer: David Perez Age 41 is the Westport Police Departments newest member. Prior to his hiring by the Westport Police Department, Mr. Perez was a police officer
with the West Haven Police Department from November 1999 thru January 2014 he was assigned to the Patrol Division, Street Crimes Unit and Detective Bureau during his tenure. Mr. Perez left West Haven in order to take a position with the Nashville Metro Police Department in Nashville Tennessee in January 2014 and remained employed with that agency until being selected by the Westport Police Department and deciding to return to
11:12pm–#Bridgeport CT–Police investigated a report of shots fired inside 222 Harral Avenue. Police confirmed there were shots fired but there was no victim. Police swept the multi-family home from top to bottom with a K-9. Police had two suspects in custody, one went to booking and the other to St. Vincent’s Hospital after he started experiencing chest pains.

3:40pm–#cttraffic–#Fairfield CT–Two incidents not related. Merritt Parkway northbound between exits 42 and 44 a five car accident. The are attempted to open the highway back up. In a separate incident a mile south of the accident is a brush fire. I-95 sounds like the way to go right now!
