12:57am–#cttraffic–#Trumbull CT– Reports of a rollover accident with five in a van and 1 ejected from the van at Route 127 and Beardsley Turnpike according to radio reports. First responders on the way.

11:44pm–#Bridgeport CT– A Sanford Place woman was parking her car when she was approached by a masked man with a gun when a heavy set Hispanic woman hit him with her purse and the man fled according to radio reports. As I was writing this up a second call on Norman Street came in about possibly the same man, armed, grabbing a woman by the hair and trying to take her car. This time we have a description of a Hispanic male about 5’7″ medium build wearing dark sweatpants . Use caution in the area.

#Bridgeport CT– Firefighters takes care of a chimney fire that extended to right side of the home at 177 Alexander Drive. Then a fire in the wall next to the furnace at 72 Scott Avenue. Now they are on their way to 70 Primrose Street for an activated carbon monoxide detector with people inside feeling symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning.

How about some likes for the arents, children and staff that came together at Creative Starts Learning Center in Stratford to help collect and donate food for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Together they donated over 300 pounds of food to the Bridgeport Rescue Mission for those in need during the holiday season. Way to go!
12:11pm–#Bridgeport CT (11/25/2015)– Police were called to the work site of the New Jewish Senior Services at 4200 Park Avenue but found a peaceful assembly of workers that were prevented from working. Senior organizer Ted Durarte told me that 86 workers have been replaced by subcontractors misrepresenting as employees and the contractor concealing payroll. Duarte said the employees were paid in cash. What the workers are looking for is a level playing field and that the contractors not cheat the state of payroll taxes and workman’s compensation benefits.
9:51pm–#Bridgeport CT– Use caution on upper Main Street. A man was sliced on his arm after a robbery attempt outside the Wlagreens at 4083 Main Street according to radio reports. The victim then walked to St. Vincent’s Hospital where they are now treating him. He said there were two assailants, a black male and a dark skinned Hispanic male. One wore a ski mask.
