Fairfield News: House Fire
9:50pm–#Fairfield CT– A fire thought to have started in the furnace area of the basement spread upwards and out at 318 Pine Creek Avenue. Firefighters quick response kept it from spreading and kept the damage to a minimum. The fire marshal was called to investigate.
Bridgeport Police Awards
#Bridgeport CT–Mayor Ganim joined Bridgeport Police officials to present annual service and excellence awards to members of the Bridgeport Police Department for outstanding actions during calendar year 2015, including recognition of past military service.
Bridgeport News: Man Burned In Fire
12:22am–Firefighters were called to 1014 Noble Avenue where a pile of clothes caught fire on the third floor, where they quickly put out the blaze. Firefighters said a man was transported to the hospital with minor burns.
Bridgeport News: Krauszer’s Robbed At Gunpoint
#Bridgeport CT– Krauszer’s Food Store at 2579 Fairfield Avenue was robbed at gunpoint by 3 black males ages 15-20. They wore face masks that covered half their face and displayed compact style handguns. The fled on foot down Monroe Street towards PT Barnum Housing according to radio reports.
