Stratford News: Recent Arrests
On 11/28/2016 The Narcotics, Vice and Intelligence Unit along with the assistance of the Bridgeport Police Department executed a prostitution/narcotics related search warrant at 295 First Avenue in Stratford. This is the second search warrant execution at this residence since September, 2016.
Detectives learned that the resident, Ariel Perry (D.O.B. 03/01/1970) and her roommate, Kathleen Cox (D.O.B. 10/06/1985) were advertising prostitution on the website “Backpage.com”. The investigation revealed that Cox and Perry were selling heroin and cocaine from the residence as well as using it to prostitute. Detectives seized heroin, cocaine, scales, paraphernalia and items related to prostitution. Cox was also found to have a fully extraditable warrant out of Kentucky for drug related offenses.
Perry was charged with Possession of Heroin with Intent to Sell, Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Sell, and Prostitution. She was held on a $500,000 dollar bond.
Cox was arrested and charged with Possession of Heroin with Intent to Sell, Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Sell, Promoting Prostitution and Conspiracy to Commit Prostitution. She was subsequently released on a $100,000 dollar bond.
A third person, Carlos Cordero (DOB 11/13/1969) of Norwalk who was at the residence was arrested after it was revealed he had two Violation of Probation warrants. He was held on a $10,000 dollar bond.
All three are scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Court on 12-08- 2016.

#Bridgeport Connecticut–At 11pm Saturday night, two male perpetrators committed a home invasion and homicide in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. During the course of this crime, the perpetrators are believed to have set fire to the home, and a deceased male was found inside the house. Both perpetrators then fled the scene and were tracked to Bridgeport. Through the cooperation of the Detective Bureau, Patrol Division and Emergency Services Unit; both suspects were taken into custody without incident, and charged in Connecticut as Fugitive’s from Justice. A search warrant was executed at 63 Granfield Avenuethis afternoon, and items of interest in this investigation were seized. I would like to thank all those who assisted the Massachusetts State Police in this investigation, and they conveyed that they were truly impressed by our department’s professionalism and assistance.

Westport News: One Dead One Injured In Fall From Roof
#Westport, Connecticut– On 12/04/16 at approximately 12:45pm, the Westport Police, Westport Fire Department and Westport Emergency Medical Services responded to a Norwalk Avenue address on a report that two male workers fell off a three story roof. Responding units found one of the fall victims deceased on scene. The other fall victim was transported to Norwalk Hospital with life threatening injuries. The Westport Police Patrol Division, Detective Bureau, and OSHA continue to investigate the incident. At this time, no foul play is suspected. The names of the involved parties are being withheld until proper notification is made to their respective families.
