Last Night’s Pursuit

12:35am–#Milford Connecticut–#Bridgeport Connecticut–#Trumbull Connecticut– As we first told you when the news was breaking!  A Connecticut State Police Officer was running laser speed enforcement on I-95 southbound south of exit 44 when they located a tan Honda GL-30 driving 90mph. State Police attempted to stop the Honda which engaged in pursuit exceeding speeds of 106mph.  The Honda then got off exit 38 onto the Milford feeder and then on to Route 15 southbound.  The suspect hit stop sticks deployed by police at the exit 49 on ramp of the Merritt Parkway taking out the front passenger tire and he got off exit 48 on to Trumbull Main Street.  He continued into Bridgeport where turned on to the dead end Oxford Street where he was taken into custody by Trumbull Police and then transferred to state police custody.  According to radio reports four were taken into custody and the Trumbull Police car was hit.  The accused, Emilio Davila admitted to stealing the car in Middletown four days earlier.  The accused was charged with Larceny 3rd degree, resisting arrest, reckless endangerment, engaging police in pursuit, and operation of a motor vehicle without a license.  He was held on a $25,000.  He is set to appear in Milford Court on 20/21/2017.

 

Westport News: Criminal Violation of Protective Order

In January of 2017, the victim of this incident reported that Giuseppe A. Boccanfuso threatened her via Facebook, which is a violation of a standing Protective Order. The victim showed the responding officers the posts and one of them is “watch your six.” Based on this information, a warrant was submitted to Norwalk Court. On 02/16/17, Officer James Baker observed GiuseppeA. Boccanfuso operating a gray jeep and was aware of the active arrest warrant. The vehicle was stopped and Boccanfuso was identified by his CT Driver’s License. Boccanfuso was taken into custody and processed for the above listed charge. Boccanfuso posted the $10,000 cash bond and has a court date of 02/17/17 at Norwalk Court.

Bridgeport News: Car Into A Building

8:32pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– A car slammed into a commercial building at 4750 Main Street.  Firefighters first reported about seventy five percent of the driver’s side of the car was inside the building. Firefighters had to work carefully to shore up the vehicle and building so nothing shifted onto the firefighters.  It took over 45 minutes to free the man who was pinned in the car.  Radio reports said he was in stable condition and was transported to the hospital.

 

Bridgeport News: Armed Robbery

6:20pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– An armed robbery with a knife at Noble and Shelton Avenue.  The victim was injured by the knife in the robbery.  Police are looking for a dark skinned black male with a goatee wearing a blue hoodie, a second suspect he did not get a good look at but said he as wearing a do-rag.
