1:11pm—#Bridgeport CT– A car has hit the Manport Fish and Chips at 1010 North Avenue. The driver was shaken up but no word on what caused the crash. The building inspector has been called to inspect the damage and see if they can reopen, which can be costly for them since it is a Friday during lent and most Catholics are directed not eat meat during lent. 
1:13pm–#Fairfield CT #Southport CT– A child smashed his hand through a window at Giants Steps School in Southport, at 309 Barberry Road. The child is bleeding from the hand, and first responders are on their way.

12:30pm–#Fairfield CT #cttraffic– A tractor trailer has gone through the barrier and off the I-95, near exit 21 northbound. Everyone is out of the vehicle at this time.
12:32am–#Bridgeport CT– Police on patrol reporting a power outage on Fairfield Avenue and Ellsworth Street. My lights on Jennings Road in Fairfield flickered as he called it in.

9:52pm–#Bridgeport CT– An armed robbery just occurred on Birmingham Street by four males, two possibly teens. The fled in a car.

10:53am–#Bridgeport CT–Just before 11am firefighters were called to Columbus School at 275 George Street for a strange odor in classroom 203. City officials told me six children were taken to Bridgeport Hospital. The children were treated in the hospital but none were admitted. Firefighters were called to the school yesterday as well. Both times firefighters use various meters but no readings were detected.
By 12:15 the school was evacuated out of “an abundance of precaution”. The students were bused to Geraldine Johnson School until school dismissal. No word if there will be school at Columbus School at this time.
Officials from Connecticut’s Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) were on scene after school dismissal to investigate but have not found anything readings.
5:55pm–#Bridgeport CT– Firefighters dispatched for a water rescue for a car submered under water at Barnum and Bishop Avenue.
