11:35pm–#Bridgeport CT– A pizza delivery person was robbed on Couse Street (near Black Rock Avenue) by four males. One had a gun. They took his cash and cellphone.

7:35pm–#Fairfield CT– #Bridgeport CT– Brooklawn Avenue was closed for a short period of time from Suburban Avenue to Capital Avenue. Two people were taken the hospital found unresponsive in a vehicle outside the package store in front of 752 Brooklawn Avenue. Both Fairfield and Bridgeport first responders were on scene.
UPDATE: The gun was not found but was pulled on the trooper.
UPDATE: Police had the car/suv pulled over and recovered a firearm from the suspect. The vehicle backed down the on ramp, the trooper was injured according to radio reports during a scuffle with the suspect. It sounds like the suspect was wanted for motor vehicle charges at first. A family member picked the suspect at the bottom of the ramp and they fled.
6:50pm–#Bridgeport CT– There is a heavy police presence I-95 near exit 28 police are looking for an SUV. I’m not sure what he is wanted for at this time but he did leave his identification behind! He may be armed.
2:25am–#Bridgeport CT– Witnesses said a car ran the red light at North and Wood Avenue forcing an AMR ambulance off the road. The ambulance hit a parked car and then a tree head on. An AMR medical student was pinned in the passenger seat and it took firefighters over a half hour to free her. After sorting through all the debris police located the front bumper of the responsible vehicle with its license plate still attached. Police told me the went to the address the car was registered to. They found two men in the backyard on Everett Street in Bridgeport. They admitted to being in the accident. The driver told police he was afraid because he did not have a drivers license. The car was registered to the driver’s mother and the car is insured. AMR officials told me the medical student pinned has leg injuries. He also said the ambulance was not carrying any patients at the time of the crash.
4:15am– Person is in custody on Voit Avenue.
4:04am–#cttraffic– A pursuit that began in Bridgeport on Boston Avenue went north on Route 8/25 to the Merritt Parkway southbound. Bridgeport Police broke the pursuit off in Fairfield. The driver ran a red light and a stop sign in front of the Bridgeport Officer. State Police continued the pursuit and the pursuit reversed northbound in Fairfield. The car has now got off exit 6 on Old Town Road and now on Trumbull Avenue.
2:25am–#Bridgeport CT– AMR ambulance was involved in a serious crash on North Avenue just past Wood Avenue. According to witnesses a car ran the red light at the intersection forcing the ambulance off the road and hitting a parked car the crashing into a tree. One EMS personnel on the passenger side was trapped and it took firefighter about a half hour to extricate her from the ambulance. I do not know her condition at this time but I did hear her talking on the radio and to firefighters on scene. I do not believe they were transporting any patients. Please pray for her recovery, radio reports say it is not life threatening. But pray for all first responders safety as their job is mostly on the road.
