9:00pm–#Bridgeport CT– First responders were in the church parking lot at 45 Monroe Street for what was first thought to be a person shot in gunfire inside a car. Turns out he was allegedly intoxicated with a gash to his head.

7/1 UPDATE: Police say the 2-year-old girl remains in very critical condition at Yale New Haven hospital.
They say her mother held a get together at her home yesterday, called for everybody who was by the pool to come inside, she turned around for just a few seconds and the baby had fallen into the pool. Mom pulled baby out of the water, first responders did CPR and got a pulse, child began breathing on her own. Went to St. V’s, then flown to Yale. In very critical condition now due to issue with her lungs.
2:24pm–#Bridgeport CT– Firefighters responded to a possible drowning according to initial scanner reports on May Street (off Chopsey Hill). Chief AJ Perez said a young man was on scene when firefighters arrived and was performing CPR on the two year old girl. She was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital and then later to Yale New Haven Hospital where she was reported to have a good heart rate.
2:39pm–#Bridgeport CT– A possible drowning of a child in a swimming pool on May Street (off Chopsey Hill). CPR was in progress and the child was transported to St Vincents Hospital. No word on the child’s condition
#Bridgeport CT– Thursday, 6/29–Mercedes Bruno, 26, of 163 Catherine St., Bridgeport, allegedly stole a sprinter delivery van from Junco’s Meat Market on Harral Avenue around 6:30am Thursday morning. She lead police on pursuit on I-95 ending in North Haven after hitting state police cars as well as several Bridgeport Police cars. The pursuit continued onto I-91 northbound when she struck another state police car near exit 12 which caused her to lose control of the van and she crashed into a light pole knocking it over and ending the pursuit. She was lead away in handcuffs with no further incident.
Bruno was charged with two counts of assault on public safety personnel, two counts of criminal attempt to commit assault on public safety personnel, second-degree larceny, second-degree criminal trove, reckless endangerment, operating while under the influence, reckless driving, engaging police in a pursuit and three counts of evading responsibility.
She was unable to post the $100,000 cash/surety bond and will appear in court on June 30th.
12:00am–#Bridgeport CT– Don’t go to sleep yet Bridgeport! Report of a structure fire at 86 Pequonnock Street. Firefighters arriving report nothing visible from the street when the pulled up. The are investigating, but now you know what all the noise was all about!
10:40pm–#Fairfield CT– A resident on Coolidge Street (off Commerce Drive) called in a suspicious vehicle. Fairfield Police recognized the car from the BOLO (Be On The Look Out) for the carjacking on Stratford Avenue. It was a pizza delivery person that was robbed and jacked of his car. Police have two in custody.
10:22pm–#Bridgeport CT– A white Toyota was taken by force by three males at the intersection of Freeman and Stratford Avenue. No weapon was displayed, the victim was reportedly beaten by the three.
