Impersonating An Police Officer
#cttraffic–State police are looking for a person operating dark-colored Ford Crown Victorian with red and blue lights. The operator is impersonating a police officer on I-95 near exit 18 earlier Sunday. The vehicle has South Carolina license plates that don’t match the car. The driver is considered armed and dangerous.

12:02am–#Bridgeport CT– Police located a stolen car in the St. Vincent Hospital area. A slow speed pursuit went down Main Street, to and across Washington Avenue around side roads in the Hollow before police broke off the pursuit. A short time later the car was located abandoned on Lewis Street. K-9 from Fairfield is assisting in tracking the suspect.

Fairfield News: Gas Station Robbed…Again
Fairfield Police UPDATE: On 03/25/2018 at approximately 9:15pm an armed robbery occurred at Star Gas Station 350 Jennings Rd. Fairfield, CT. The store clerk reported that a male entered the store armed with a knife, and demanded cash. The clerk opened the cash register and backed away while the suspect reached over the counter and took the cash drawer out of the register. The suspect then removed an undisclosed amount of cash and left the store on foot eastbound on Jennings Road. The store video surveillance showed a tall thin male, with light to fair skin, wearing a purple bandana wrapped around his face, a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, work style boots, and carrying a knife. Anyone with information regarding the robbery, or the suspect pictured below, is asked to call the Fairfield Police Detective Bureau at (203)254-4840, or Text-A- Tip to CRIMES (274637).
8:21pm–#Fairfield CT–The Star Fuels located at the intersection of Black Rock Turnpike and Jennings Road was robbed. The suspect fled down Jennings Road towards Kings Highway East. Star Fuels was recently robbed on February 11th.

Bigelow Tea Kicks Off National Public Health Week with Presentation at Stratford Library
#STRATFORD, CT– To celebrate National Public Health Week, the Stratford Health Department has partnered with the Stratford Library and Bigelow Tea to host The History and Health Benefits of Tea. Representatives from Bigelow will engage the audience in a rich discussion about the origins of tea, it’s powerful health benefits, and the many options available to consumers. The event will be held on Tuesday, April 3rd from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Stratford Library, located at 2203 Main Street.
National Public Health Week occurs the first week of April each year and highlights the powerful role public health plays in disease prevention and health promotion. This year’s theme, Healthiest Nation 2030: Changing our Future Together, hopes to engage individuals, families, and communities in actively spreading the message of health to create the healthiest nation.
