#Bridgeport CT– Police say that just before 7pm Sunday, the motorcycle was traveling south on Park Avenue when it collided with a white sedan that was slowly turning onto Park Avenue. The motorcycle collided with the car throwing the driver and passenger. The driver of the motorcycle, Danillo Andrade, 31, remains in the hospital from bleeding on the brain and a fractured wrist. His passenger Miranda Elienai died from serious head injuries. The driver of the car was identified Tremaine Wilson of New Haven. No charges have been filed and police continue to investigate.

1:55pm–#Bridgeport CT– A purse was just snatched on Mill Hill Terrace by a teenager, he fled down Boston Avenue.

1:11pm–#Bridgeport CT– A car hit a parked car and then hit the gas main of St. Vincent’s Partners at the corner of Main and Hawley Avenue.

 

8:30pm–#Bridgeport CT– A person was reportedly shot in 500 block of Trumbull Gardens.  Radio reports say it was possibly a female shot and taken to the hospital by private vehicle.  Police and detectives are on scene investigating.  Shell casings have been located.

1:19pm–#Trumbull CT– Park rangers rescue a 4 year old boy who broke his arm on the bike path off Tait Road.  He was brought out on the Whitney Avenue entrance of the Pequannock River State Park.  Way to go rangers!

12:50am–#Bridgeport CT– A Bridgeport Police Officer was injured with unknown injuries after this crash on North Avenue between Main and Porter Street.  This was at the time of the crash and car fire on exit 5 of Route 8/25.  It is not known if the officer was responding to that call at the time of the crash.
