UPDATE: Fairfield Police Department – Connecticut said 2 Bridgeport male juveniles were arrested for Criminal Attempt to Commit Burglary at the Hyundai after they threw a rock through the window. They fled toward the Wheels at Post and S. Pine and were apprehended a short time later by K-9 Jagger on the deck of 6 Pleszko Place.

 

10:14pm–#Fairfield CT– Police are investigating a report of a male throwing a rock into the window at Balise Hyundai at 2269 Post Road.

3:20pm–#Trumbull CT–Two soccer players at Inline Sports at  29 Trefoil Drive collide hitting heads.  One of the players was unconscious at the time of the call.

10:00AMish–Police are investigating a shooting at 1377 Stratford Avenue near Union Avenue.  The family identified the man as George Mercer and family says he is undergoing surgery at Bridgeport Hospital.

 

12:19am–#Bridgeport CT–Don’t go to sleep yet Bridgeport!  Report of an odor of gas indoors at 1812 Stratford Avenue.  Here come a bunch of firetrucks to wake you!

#Bridgeport CT–At approximately 10:18 pm Saturday night,  Bridgeport Police Officers responded to a serious three-car motor vehicle accident on Railroad Avenue at its intersection with Myrtle Avenue.  The Bridgeport Fire Department extricated 5 occupants from one of the vehicles.  A total of 11 occupants from the three vehicles were transported to area hospitals with injuries ranging from minor to critical. Railroad Avenue was re-opened for the normal flow of traffic at 1:30 am after the police accident team investigated.

 

 

1:55pm–#cttraffic–A high speed pusuit over 100 mph on I-95 northbound heading into Fairfield.

5:37pm–#Bridgeport CT– A resident in the 2600 block of Main Street called the police to report a four-foot tall gun safe was stolen from his home.  He said the safe was full of firearms.
