10:30PMish–#Bridgeport CT– Police are investigating a crash on North Avenue at Center Street Extension involving one of their own. A number of people were transported to the hospital including the police officer’s ride-along passenger and a child in one of the cars. It is unknown if the officer was injured. I counted three vehicles including the police car involved in the crash. Police are investigating. The officer was NOT involved in a pursuit.

Police then received a call from the person parked in the handicapped sport reporting the woman is beating on his car. She allegedly did it on porpoise….

10:00am–#Bridgeport CT– An anti-gun rally, protected by men with guns was held in secret behind closed doors today at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit at 729 Union Avenue. The “Gun Violence Meeting” hosted by U.S. Senator Murphy along with candidate for governor Ned Lamont, City Council members Ernie Newton, Eneida Martinez and State Representative Chris Rosario. Steve Krauchick of DoingItLocal.com away turned away by U.S. Senator Murphy’s press person. Senator Murphy is running for re-election this November. “His press people (Murphy’s) have been restrictive and controlling with me in the past,” said Krauchick. “She told me I could report on their little march through the East End and ask questions afterward. 12:50pm–#Bridgeport CT– Heavy police presence at Hollister and Stratford Avenue for a skinny black male, purple do-rag, black jacket, and one red sneaker. He is currently near Orange Street not near the school. The school is in lock in/out.
