2020-09-20@12:20am– An armed robbery occurred at Fairfield and Holland Avenue by a heavy set woman with cornrow braids driving a silver Nissan at 70mph. Good thing she was headed towards Fairfield so that I was able to get this report otherwise Joe would have been able to keep this from you. The car then U-turned and was lost in the area of PT Barnum Housing.

Fairfield News: Downed Wires Start Brush Fire
2020-09-19@2:38pm–#Fairfield CT–#ctfire– Firefighters were called for downed utility lines that eventually started a brush fire in the 4000 block of Black Rock Turnpike (near Tanglewood Road). Firefighters had to wait for UI to turn off the power before they could put out the brush fire.

Bridgeport News: Assault Victim Pulled From Ambulance
2020-09-19@1:11pm–#Bridgeport CT– EMS was called for an assault victim outside of 205 Washington Avenue. As they were treating the woman the man who assaulted her pulled her out of the ambulance and dragged her to their apartment. Obviously police were called to resolve the issue so that paramedics could treat and transport the woman to the hospital.

UPDATE: 3 vehicles and one motorcycle which was the possible ejection. No tractor-trailer involved. 3 people injured.

Bridgeport News: Structure Fire
2020-09-19@12:00am–#Bridgeport CT–#ctfire– Firefighters quick response kept a fire at 385 Williams Street contained to the front stairwell on the first floor and did not allow the fire to extend to the rest of the multi-family home. There were no reported injuries. The fire marshal was called to the scene to investigate the cause.
Stratford News: Man Arrested For Allegedly Killing His Mother
#Stratford News: In a story, we first reported to you at the scene of a homicide on Braid Court in Stratford. Police said:
On 09-18-2020 Thomas Walker age 31 of Stratford was arrested and charged with the stabbing death of his mother at her home on 26 Baird Court. Officers responded to the residence at approximately 7:14 am after Walker came to the Stratford Police Department to report the incident.
Upon investigation, officers found the victim unresponsive in her home.
Walker was charged with Murder. He was held on a $1,000,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Court on 09-21-2020.
The investigation is ongoing and there are no further updates or information at this time.
Stratford News: Boat Hits Sandbar
UPDATE: Now reported 4 children, 5 adults onboard one adult “significantly” injured. The boat is reported to be taking on water. Milford has been added to the assignment.
