Milford News: 4th Arrest In Home Invasion

The fourth and final arrest has been made in the home invasion that occurred at 494 Naugatuck Ave on January 10, 2022. During the home invasion, suspects wore fake Amazon delivery uniforms. Milford Police Detectives conducted an investigation which led to an arrest warrant being issued for Theodore Jordan, 27, of Shelton. Jordan was taken into custody in Georgia and was extradited by detectives on September 22, 2022. While in custody it was determined that Jordan had several other active arrest warrants for Failure to Appear for arrests from other agencies that were served.

Milford News: Woman Faces Multiple Charges

On September 18, 2022, Stephanie Meckley hopped over the barrier to enter Stonebridge after being asked to leave and wait in line by staff. She assaulted 3 security members before she could be escorted out. Officers responded and she failed to submit to their commands. She became combative with officers, spitting at them and she then bit an officer as they were attempting to take her into custody. She also later spit and bit another officer while in custody. The officers sustained minor injuries. She was charged accordingly.


She was charged with: Assault of a Police Officer, Criminal Trespass, 1st Degree Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree, Assault, and 3rd Degree Interfering with an Officer Her bond was set at $50,000.

I-95 Darien Homicide UPDATE

On 09/14/2022 at approximately 3:51am, Western District Major Crimes Squad (WDMCS) Detectives were requested to respond to the intersection of Maple and Noroten Avenue, in the Town of Darien for a reported shooting involving three (3) individuals. Prior to WDMCS arrival it was reported that two (2) of the passengers were transported to Stamford Hospital with life threatening injuries. However, the operator identified as Jovel Mckenzie (DOB: 03-16-1993) remained on-scene with a superficial wound to the right shoulder and refused medical attention. Shortly thereafter, the right front passenger was identified as Earl Gayle (DOB: 08-11-1991), and was pronounced deceased at Stamford Hospital. The left-side rear passenger was identified as Rashawn Mccalla (DOB: 12/16/1993), who underwent surgery and is listed in stable condition. During the course of this investigation detectives closed the Southbound lanes of I-95 from exit 18-16 in order to canvass on foot, at which time ten (10) shell casings were located south of the exit 16 on-ramp. Furthermore, numerous items of evidentiary value were seized to include the Victim’s vehicle identified as a 2013 Infiniti G37 bearing New York registration KJW1952. This case remains active, fluid and ongoing. This is all the information we have available for release at this time. Redding Armed Robbery Ends In Bridgeport

2022-09-13@8:30pm–#Redding CT– #Bridgeport CT– The Spinning Wheel Restaurant located at 109 Black Rock Turnpike in Redding was robbed by three black males who fled south in a gray Honda. Police chased the suspects into Easton, Trumbull and Bridgeport where it came to an end at Trumbull Gardens. A perimeter was set around Trumbull Gardens to Fairchild Wheeler Interdistrict Multi-Magnet School. I know the driver and one suspect was taken into custody.

Milford News: Park Damages

#Milford CT– On September 2, 2022, officers were dispatched to Eisenhower Park where a vehicle was located inside the park, stuck on a rock. There was evidence that the vehicle had been off-roading in the park. The vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the arrival of the officers. Public Works assessed the damage to the park as approximately $15,000 in damages. After an investigation, the owner of the vehicle, Gregory Ulrich was located in Bridgeport at his residence. He was taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was released on a promise to appear in court.

Milford News: Couple Gets Numerous Charges

On September 1, 2022, police responded to Big Y for a shoplifting complaint. The Loss Prevention officer
stated that they observed Martin Geldreich load beer into a shopping cart and walk out of the store without paying.


They followed him out into the parking lot and the male, later identified as Geldreich, left the shopping cart and fled across the street and to a vehicle with a female passed out in the driver’s seat. She was later identified as Alyssa Ruotolo. Upon arrival, police located Geldreich and located the vehicle with the female sleeping in the driver’s seat. After an investigation, police found 10 bags of heroin, empty narcotic packaging, and a plastic container with what is believed to be crack cocaine in the female’s possession.

There were other items such as batteries and beer located in the vehicle indicating that they were also possibly stolen from another location due to the circumstances. These were seized for further investigation. The stolen items from Big Y totaled $116.21 in value. Both were charged accordingly
