2024-02-20@4:50pm–#Milford CT– A pedestrian has been struck by a car in front of the car dealership in the 400 block of Boston Post Road. Radio reports said it was a male in his 20’s.
Manhunt After Shots Fired On I-95
Unconfirmed radio reports said there were shots fired on I-95 in Stratford. State police located the vehicle which allegedly crashed in Milford at exit 35 with a manhunt in the wooded area. Again this is breaking news and details will more than likely change. Police just said they have everyone in custody and that the firearm was recovered.
Robbery Arrest Made
On January 16, 2024, at around 6:40 pm, officers responded to a reported robbery with a firearm at a residence on Wilson Street. The victim identified two familiar males as the perpetrators who had robbed them at gunpoint inside the residence. The suspects fled in a white vehicle, subsequently spotted by a responding officer on Schoolhouse Road, leading to a stop. Narcotics were discovered in the vehicle during the encounter.
Further investigation revealed that the firearm used in the robbery had been dropped off at another residence in Milford. The Milford Police Department Detective Bureau initiated an enhanced investigation, securing a search warrant for the suspected residence. The execution of the warrant resulted in the recovery of a stolen .38 caliber loaded pistol, previously reported stolen during a burglary in Vernon, Connecticut.
As the investigation progressed, two juveniles were apprehended, and Isaiah Kelly emerged as an additional suspect. Detectives obtained a warrant for his arrest, issued by Milford Superior Court. On February 3, 2024, around 4:45 pm, patrol officers observed Kelly in the Walnut Beach Parking lot and took him into custody. Isaiah Kelly, 18, faces charges including 1st-degree robbery with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit 1st-degree robbery with a deadly weapon, stealing a firearm, and carrying a pistol without a permit. He was held on a $300,000 court-set bond and appeared in Milford Superior Court on February 5, 2024.

2024-02-06@11:29pm–#Milford CT– Firefighters were called to a house fire on Amber Lane. Firefighters found two floors engulfed in flames. Everyone made it out safely, no reported injuries at this time.

Ice Cream Truck Heist Ends in Cold Custody!
The cold caper began when state police started following the truck from Milford to Bridgeport where they got off exit 27, right in front the state police headquarters where they boxed him in. The irony didn’t escape law enforcement, who swiftly scooped him up. Charges include grand theft auto and an inevitable brain freeze. In the end, this chilling tale serves as a reminder that crime may not always pay, but it can certainly bring a scoop of unexpected hilarity to the daily grind.
Milford News: Robbery Arrest
On January 16, 2024, at approximately 6:40pm, officers responded to a Wilson Street residence for a report of a robbery with a firearm. The victim stated that they were robbed at gunpoint inside the residence by two males,
who were known to the victim. The suspects fled the residence in a white vehicle. A short time later, a responding officer spotted a vehicle matching the description and it was stopped on Schoolhouse Road.
Two juveniles in the vehicle were later identified as the suspects in the robbery. Narcotics were found in the vehicle.
During the investigation, it was learned that the firearm used in the robbery was dropped off at another Milford residence after the robbery. The Milford Police Department Detective Bureau began to enhance the
investigation and detectives drafted a search warrant for the suspected residence. Early this morning, a search warrant was executed, and a stolen .38 caliber loaded pistol was recovered. The firearm was found to be stolen
during a burglary in Vernon, Connecticut.
Both juveniles were charged with Robbery in the First Degree and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery in the First Degree. Their names are being withheld because of their age.
This investigation is continuing, and additional charges are pending.
