Police work a complicated accident
12:30am–#Bridgeport CT—Police are piecing together a rather complicated accident scene outside the movie theaters on Canfield Avenue tonight. A motorcyclist hit a pickup truck. The motorcyclist then got up and took off in a Audi. Police were able to get the owner of the motorcycle, sounds like driver’s father to the scene. The motorcyclist did suffer a head injury but has not reported to any hospital at this point.

CT State House passes the bill to raise the minimum wage over 2 years to $9.00 per hour. On it’s way to the governor’s desk for his signature.
Attempted robbery
10:44pm–The Primo Pizza delivery person attempted a deliver at Ruby’s II when two men jumped him, but he was able to get away.

10:05pm–#Bridgeport CT– A motorcyclist is down after a collision with a car on Hillside Avenue (off Suburban Avenue).
Manhunt for burglar
9:40pm–#Bridgeport CT #Fairfield CT–Bridgeport and Fairfield Police are in the area of Commerce Drive for a burglar. The suspect cut the lock on the door with bolt cutters at a lawnmower store (I don’t think it’s the rental company) at 197 Dewey Street. Canine from both towns are also in the area. Missing child located
9:09pm–#Bridgeport CT–Police quickly locate a missing child in the 500 block of Trumbull Avenue. The child was missing for about 40 minutes.
