5:41pm–#Bridgeport CT–Police are investigating a break in in the double digit section of Asylum Avenue closer towards Boston Avenue. Remember, on break ins we choose not to post the actual address.
Hit and run update
The two victims remain in critical condition. The victims are a 60-year-old woman and her 6-year-old niece. Police have not released their names. They were crossing Washington Ave at Highland Street when they were struck. Two other young children made it across the street safely and were not injured.
The aunt remains at Bridgeport Hospital. The 6-year-old girl was transferred today to Yale-New Haven Hospital where she also remains in critical condition.
A light color large size SUV which fled north on Washington toward Catherine is responsible for the accident. It is missing a side mirror, which was found at the crash scene and recovered as evidence.
A quote from Police Chief Joseph L. Gaudett Jr.–“The department’s traffic division is conducting an intensive investigation. To the driver: The clock is ticking. If you panicked and fled the scene, we need to hear from you.”
3:34pm–#Bridgeport CT–A stove fire was the cause of an evacuation at Four Stone Management at 100 Fairfield Avenue. The fire was out when firefighters arrived.
Strong Arm Robbery in Bridgeport
1:49pm–#Bridgeport CT– Report of a strong arm robbery at Main Street and Gold Street in Bridgeport. No description of the suspect at this time. A strong arm robbery is when one uses, involves, or threatens the use of physical force or violence to rob another.
Another broken arm
5:20pm–#Norwalk CT–A six year old child has fracture their arm on the playground behind Cranberry School. This is the second child in as many days in Norwalk to break and arm.
Tree down on Route 7
9:40am–#Ridgefield CT #cttraffic–There is a tree down on Route 7 near the “Golf Art”. One lane is blocked and the state says they will get a tree crew within an hour and a half. Obviously expect delays.
Two assaults in Norwalk
2:08am–#Norwalk CT–Police and EMS on the way to assist two assault victims at the Sono Lounge at 11B Washington Street, Norwalk, CT.
Shots fired
11:08pm–#Bridgeport CT–Shots fired in the 300 block of Bradley Street. Shots were reportedly shot from a blue Jeep Cherokee.
Ouch!
6:34pm–#Norwalk CT–A three and a half year old fell about ten feet off a slide inside Pump It Up at 145 Main Street. Possible arm fracture.

5:36pm–#Shelton CT– Report of a tree and wires down at Kanungum Trail. Firefighters on the way.
