9:30pm–#Bridgeport CT–Firefighters on scene at 305 Putnam Street for a call of a kitchen fire. Firefighters on scene, the person in the apartment said they didn’t call. Police are investigating if the call was made to resolve a noise complaint call within the building and the person was upset the police wasn’t responding fast enough.

#Fairfield CT #Meriden CT–Last night members of the Fairfield Police Department along with members of the U.S. Marshals office and made five arrests in connection to the kidnapping and robbery at the Lenox Jewlery on Black Rock Turnpike back on April 11th. Police discovered early in the investigation it was an interstate operation. Fairfield Police worked heavily with the U.S. Marshal’s Department, The FBI and the U.S. Attorney’s office in the investigation.

5 arrests made in Lenox Jewlery Robbery
12:12pm–#Fairfield CT–Lieutenant Perez just confirmed that 5 arrests have been made in the kidnapping/robbery of the Lenox Jewelry. Fairfield Police working with the town of Meriden, The FBI, U.S. Attorney’s Office and U.S. Marshals have arrested five in the investigation.
