#Bridgeport CT #ECSU –Jermaine Richards last known address of 115 Beardsley Park Terrace has turned himself in to Troop G State Police Barracks in Bridgeport today after finding out he is a person of interest in the disappearance and homicide of Eastern Connecticut State University student Alyssiah Marie Wiley.  Her remains were found off Quarry Road in Trumbull Friday morning, state police confirmed today it was her body found.  UPDATE–Jermaine Richards is being held on
$2 million bond and charged with kidnapping and murder.

4:50pm–#Trumbull CT #cttraffic–Merritt Parkway southbound near exit 52 a report of an accident with an unresponsive person.  First responders on the way.  Reports of two incidents now, another one at exit 55.

3:33pm–#Strartford CT–Police are investigating a suspicious package at the Citgo gas station at 2000 Barnum Avenue near the propane tanks.  Barnum Ave. is closed at Barnum and Soundivew Avenue.  Avoid the area, John Kovach from the Stratford Star provided this photo and reports that the bomb squad is in the area and that traffic is a real mess so avoid the area.

1:11pm–#Bridgeport CT–Police received a call of shots fired on Remington Street.  One person was hit,  he drove himself to Bridgeport Hospital where he crashed into a Bridgeport Police Detective car trying to enter the entrance of the emergency room.  Police have cordoned off an alleyway between Palisades Ave. and Remington Street where 9mm shell casing have been found.  Police are looking for a suspect in green minivan styled vehicle.  The name of the victim or his condition have not been released at this time.  Detectives have been very busy today with a domestic homicide on Ash Street this morning and now a untimely death in the 600 block of Central Avenue.

3:34pm–#Bridgeport CT–Firefighters are at 126 Marilyn Drive where there was a fire on the exterior of the house in the back.  Firefighters are now overhauling the scene removing shingles that are still smoldering and check to see if the fire has extended elsewhere in the house.

3:33pm–#Bridgeport CT–Police are investigating a suspicious package at the Mobil gas station at 2000 Barnum Avenue near the propane tanks.  Barnum Ave. is closed at Barnum and Soundivew Avenue.  Avoid the area, I’m sure it’s a mess.  John Kovach from the Stratford Star is on the way to investigate.

8:40am–#Bridgeport CT–Police are investigating a domestic dispute between boyfriend and girlfriend 93-95 Ash Street.  Police have been to this address for domestic disputes in the past.  Neighbors told me there was a lot of arguing going on in the street and that she hit a fire hydrant knocking it down. She then proceeded into the driveway between 93-95 Ash Street where she allegedly crushed him between a wall  in the back of the house with her red Pontiac, which is how police found the victim when they arrived.  At this time the it is being investigated as a domestic homicide, police are still investigating.  The victim aged 24 and the suspect aged 21 were not identified at this time.  Neighbors told me the woman has a child, it is unknown who has the child at this time.  This took place two blocks from the train crash on Commerce Street.

12:50pm–#Bridgeport—Firefighters are on scene at the Subway on Madison Avenue with a fire on the third floor.

3:48am–#Norwalk CT–Report of a car into a fence at 39 Butler Street with possible injuries.
