Naked Man Attacks Police Officer
#Bridgeport, CT — UPDATE — In a story we were first to report, two police officers were hospitalized after being attacked Friday while responding to a domestic dispute. The call came in a little before 1:30 p.m. at 313 Dover St. on a report of a 19-year-old out of control.
When officers arrived, they had started up the stairs a when a male emerged naked from a bedroom and struck one of the officers repeatedly with a marble urn, causing him to fall back down the stairs. The second officer suffered puncture wounds to his leg after he was bitten by a dog. It was not immediately clear if the suspect set the dog loose on the officer or if it got loose during the activity.
Both officers were taken to Saint Vincent’s Medical Center.
The 19-year-old also was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
Charges are expected to be filed.
Body found in fire ruled a homicide
The autopsy was conducted today. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled the death a homicide. At this point, however, the victim has not been positively identified so we don’t have a name to release. And any potential links between the fire and the shooting that night remain under investigation
